Yamaha introduces the new XMAX models the 250cc XMAX 250 and the 125cc X- MAX 125.

Inspired by its flagship scooter model, the TMAX, the two models feature an updated sports-inspired design and a fuel efficient 4-stroke engine (with liquid cooling and fuel injection), which makes them a good alternative for daily commuting.

The styling upgrades include features like a strong, rigid frame for sports-style riding, enhanced rider comfort, increased storage capacity, and a new dashboard design.

The rider’s comfort is given by the shape of the new footboard position, while the single-piece cowling allows a larger and improved dashboard design. According to Yamaha, the dash is in fact inspired from the look of luxury sports cars. It therefore comes equipped with red backlit analogue and digital instruments, and a large sports-style rev counter. Furthermore, the weather protection is provided by a sporty windscreen and the wide front cowling.

Both the XMAX 250 and XMAX 125 feature a two-up passenger seat, which houses enough storage space to accommodate two full-face helmets. Moreover, there is also an enlarged lockable glove compartment around the knee area at the front.

Technical features include twin rear shocks, long-travel telescopic forks, twin-piston 267mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes, while the adherence to the ground is given by 15-inch front and 14-inch rear tires.

The XMAX 250 is available in Competition White, Midnight Black, Aluminium Slate and Storm Silver, while the XMAX 125 is available in four colour finishes: Magnetic Blue, Competition White, Aluminium Slate and Midnight Black.
